A FOCUS OF MY PRACTICE

Yager Code

When words are hard to find. A different approach.

Talking about distressing experiences is not always easy. Yager Code focuses on guided inner work without requiring you to describe experiences in detail.

THE METHOD

Understanding the method. Making your own decision.

Yager Code was developed by Edwin Yager. This approach uses verbal guidance to address inner processes. It does not involve a formal hypnotic induction.

The method uses a model of a higher inner agency, often called the “Center”. This is an explanatory model used by the method, not a proven anatomical structure. I explain what the work involves during our consultation.

Even if you prefer not to describe every experience in detail, information about your current situation is important for a responsible assessment. There is space for your questions and boundaries.

POSSIBLE CONCERNS

What brings you here?

These topics may be a reason to arrange an initial consultation. We assess individually which method is appropriate.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER CAN LOOK LIKE

Step by step. With personal support.

The initial consultation is free and takes place in person at my practice. Meeting me does not commit you to further sessions.

  1. STEP 01

    Clarifying goals & suitability

We discuss your concerns, current difficulties and whether this approach may be appropriate for you.

  2. STEP 02

    Following the guidance

I guide the inner work verbally. You turn your attention inward and give feedback on your experience.

  3. STEP 03

    Reflecting on the experience

We discuss how you experienced the session and what next steps make sense.

Making an informed decision.

A particular treatment outcome cannot be guaranteed. Yager Code does not replace medically necessary treatment or psychotherapy; specialist assessment is important for trauma-related disorders.

A standard therapy session lasts approximately 45–90 minutes and costs €250. Fees are paid privately. A telephone Yager Code session costs €200. Weekend appointments are available by arrangement at no extra charge.

Initial improvements are often noticed after 1–4 sessions. The number needed varies from person to person.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before your first appointment.

Do I have to say what happened?

The approach does not require a detailed account of distressing experiences. However, we still need certain information to assess your situation. We discuss together what that includes.

Is Yager Code the same as hypnosis?

The methods differ in their approach. Yager Code usually works without a formal hypnotic induction.

Can I use it instead of my current therapy?

Do not stop existing treatment on your own. Any additional support should be discussed with the professional treating you.
